Life will never be the same after COVID-19. It’s not just a small bump in the road. Businesses that survive will be those with a clear plan and direction.
At the time of writing (May 2020, Updated February 2021 and again July 2021) it’s now time to open up our Colour Analysis businesses again, although we must be cautious. Now is the time to evaluate how we could and should offer our services once more, and how we train new students to start a colour analysis business in a changed retail and service sector. We need to adapt and change to provide a service which is safe for both the consultant and the customer.
As you may imagine, although our Advanced Colour Analysis course has been updated on a regular basis, it is a massive undertaking. While new guidelines for working safely in a Covid-19 world, are still being written and tweaked as they are implemented – it would not make sense to make amendments now that may need to be changed again in 3 or 6 months time.
So, our solution is a new Playbook, in which the issues that we will face are discussed and suggestions made of how to overcome them.
This playbook was launched to Members of the Association of Colourflair Consultants on June 1st, 2020. At the time it was prepared, Training with Imagination was the only training course for Colour Analysis to update their course with information relevant to offering this service post COVID-19.
The beauty of the Playbook is that it can be easily updated as new information becomes available and delivered to Members of the Association through links in the newsletter or via the private FB group page.
We released this bonus package to our Association members as an Information pack which included:
- A Playbook of almost 5,000 words, with information to help you understand how to run a safe Colour Analysis session.
- An A4 poster of Guidelines that you adhere to in your Colour Analysis studio for you to display in your Colour Studio. This is provided as a word document that you can edit to suit your own circumstance.
- Three A4 posters for display in your studio – reminding people to wash their hands, or that you disinfect your studio after every customer.
For Members of the Association this was provided FREE as part of their annual membership…it has already had 5 updates and is about to go to its 6th Edition.
