Colourflair – Where Professional Colour Consultants Begin
The Colourflair Advanced Diploma in Colour Analysis remains at the heart of everything we do.
Originally developed by Pat Scott Vincent in the 1980s, the Colourflair Method has earned a reputation as one of the most comprehensive and respected colour analysis systems available.
Unlike many courses that simply teach a process, Colourflair develops genuine understanding. Students learn not only what to do, but why they are doing it—combining colour science, observation, client communication and practical business knowledge into one integrated programme.

The Colourflair Heritage
The Colourflair Method was created by the late Pat Scott Vincent, one of the UK’s most respected image consultants and educators.
Pat held the City & Guilds Award in Image Consultancy, was a Fellow and Past President of the Federation of Image Consultants International and devoted decades to developing a colour analysis system that balanced scientific understanding with practical consultancy.
Before her passing in 2024, Pat entrusted the future of Colourflair to Helen Kendall-Tobias, ensuring that both the method and its high professional standards would continue for future generations of consultants.
Today the Colourflair Diploma continues to evolve while remaining true to the principles that have made it successful for more than forty years.
Meet Helen Kendall-Tobias
Helen Kendall-Tobias established Imagination Style Consultancy in 2005 with a long-term ambition not only to work with clients but to educate the next generation of colour consultants.
With over twenty years of practical consultancy experience and more than fifteen years as the UK’s licensed Colourflair trainer, Helen has helped students from across the UK develop professional careers in colour analysis.
Alongside training, Helen writes extensively on colour analysis, colour psychology and business development, speaks to organisations throughout the UK and continues to develop new resources that raise professional standards within the industry.
Helen believes that learning should never stop.
